Coming without a car
The nearest SNCF station is Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, from Challans, Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Nantes. From 15 June to 15 September only, the summer shuttle service 568 towards “La Barre de Monts” on the Aleop network runs between the station and your campsite in 20 minutes (stop “Avenue de Baisse Les Maraîchines”, a 20-minute walk from the campsite).
You can reach the campsite from the Vélodysée cycle route, which runs along the south-western Atlantic coast and passes right in front of your campsite!
Coming by car
You’ll find a charging point right at your campsite. Make the most of a friendly, environmentally-friendly journey by carpooling with other campers! The Mobicoop car-sharing site operates without any service charges.
Getting around Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez and the surrounding area without a car
From the campsite, it’s a short walk to Saint-Jean-de-Monts town centre, the 60-kilometre beach, the Plage des Demoiselles, Atlantic Toboggan and the forest…
From Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, everything is even more accessible by bike! In 15 minutes you can reach the La Chevauchée des Dunes equestrian centre, in 20 minutes Explora-Parc, in 35 minutes Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez town centre, and in 1 hour the Yeu Continent pier for the Ile d’Yeu… There are many cycle paths to discover in the surrounding area, including the Vélodyssée cycle route! During the summer months, route 568 serves all the surrounding towns to discover. It runs from 15 June to 15 September between 8.30am and 10pm, every hour. The nearest stop to the campsite is “Avenue de Baisse Les Maraîchines”, a 20-minute walk away.

Practical info
New: our 3-star campsite in the Vendée is now equipped with charging points for electric cars. Thanks to our partnership with Freshmile, all you have to do to recharge your vehicle is scan a QR code. The charging points are ideally located near the campsite for your convenience.

Opening hours for campsite and services
Our campsite welcomes visitors from early April to late September.
During this period, a full range of services is available, including reception, sanitary facilities, children’s play areas, bike rentals, barbecue facilities, bed linen and towels, and a bread deposit service.
What’s more, our heated, covered swimming pool, restaurant and grocery store remain open throughout the season for your enjoyment.
Reception is open throughout the season at the following times:
Low season: 8.30am-12.30pm / 1.30pm-6.30pm
High season: 8.30am-8pm
During the closure period, the switchboard is available from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm.
If you are planning a late arrival, i.e. after our reception desk has closed, we would be grateful if you could inform us in advance of your expected arrival time.
This will enable us to organize your late arrival and send you essential information by e-mail or telephone, including the location where you can collect your key and entry code, a map of the campsite, the times of services available, and a map of the restaurant.

Security and bonding
At Demoiselles Plage, ensuring our guests rest is a top priority.
For this reason, vehicle traffic is strictly restricted on the campsite premises from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. An entry code will be given to you on arrival, making it easier to move around the campsite between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
For holidaymakers arriving late at night, parking is available to the right of the campsite entrance. Pedestrian and bicycle access to the campsite remains open around the gates, 24 hours a day.
During the summer season, our campsite benefits from night-time surveillance by our janitor. Its main task is to ensure strict compliance with the house rules, in particular with regard to the maintenance of absolute silence on the part of holidaymakers during the night. In the event of an incident or excessive noise, please inform our on-site security guard or use the emergency number provided on arrival.
On arrival, we ask for a deposit of €300, regardless of the length of your rental stay. For pitches, payment for the first night of your stay is required. For further information on reception and services, please visit our services page.
When you leave your rental property, our team will carry out a complete check of the accommodation. We encourage you to sign up for the departure inventory schedule, so that you can prepare for the end of your stay with complete peace of mind. Entrance inspections are not necessary at Camping Demoiselles Plage, as they are carried out by our maintenance teams beforehand.
